June Wedding with a Masquerade twist
The goal of this reception was to achieve a timeless elegance, enchantment, and a dash of masquerade fun all while capturing our adventurous journey! The invitations set the tone and unfolds our story through typography and illustrations. Each table name card was based on a destination we have traveled to and shares a story pertaining to our experience at that location. These are original illustrations and watercolors.
The cherry blossom wishing tree is custom made and represents our visit to Tokyo during the cherry blossom festival where we were taken with the beauty and magic. We also visited the Meiji Jingu Shrine where there was a prayer tree and thought it would be great to combine the two features into a wishing tree. Each masque was also custom made for each guest using pearl accents, feathers, and spray paint. This was a fun feature for the guests and doubled as their party favor.
